Amaca Beach Retreat sits on the shore of Quimixto, a small community on the south side of Banderas Bay with no road connecting it to the city. Your group leaves Puerto Vallarta behind, crosses the water in about fifteen minutes, and arrives somewhere the outside world cannot easily follow.
There are no cars here and no through traffic. Behind the property the jungle climbs to a waterfall you can hike to, a river runs through the hills, and the Pacific opens up in front of you. Because the hotel is small and the location is protected, your group can take over the entire property and feel like they own the coastline.
That sense of a private world is nearly impossible to build near a city. It is exactly what facilitators tell us they are looking for.

Can we buy out the entire property?
Yes. The property can be reserved in full, up to 56 guests across 17 rooms and villas. The entire hotel is exclusive to your group. The Beach Club remains open to the public; if you wish, hotel and retreat guests can have a separate, independent dining area.
How do guests get there?
Guests travel by road to Boca de Tomatlan near Puerto Vallarta, then cross to Quimixto by sea in about fifteen minutes. We coordinate the crossing for your whole group.
Is it all inclusive?
We are not a standing all inclusive resort, but we build a fully customized all inclusive package for each retreat: chef-prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus a morning and afternoon snack, coffee and tea, curated experiences and full hospitality.
How far in advance should we book?
Dates from November to April fill first, because a full rental takes the entire hotel. If you book six months or more in advance, hold your dates with approximately $2,000 USD, reach 50% three months before and settle in full one month before. USD amounts are approximate; payments are made in Mexican pesos and vary with the exchange rate. For closer dates, we send the payment schedule with your quote.
